Entrance to "Felsenkeller" in Rüdesheim

An entrance to one of the wine taverns in Rüdesheim. They are prepared to serve visitors from all over the world.

They also sell wine from the region as written on the old barrel. At least that's what I understand in German - does anyone know what the other characters say (are they Japanese?)?

cynthia - that reminds me that I need to get a photo from a wine tasting soon...

midnitebara - Thanks so must for your translation!!! I was already wondering why there are so many characters for just one word, but thanks to your translation I now know that there is more to it.

lorraine - my mum has a poster somewhere with a lot of doors on it. I was already thinking of starting my own collection to make one, too... We'll see...
