Hut in Vineyards No.2

Another one of these small huts in the vineyards. This one looked so nice in the afternoon mist. Remember the one I showed you in March?

This is a great minimalist shot, though I would have preffered it not to be misty. It would have certainly looked good to our eyes, but the camera has not captured that so well. I still like this shot nonetheless. How about taking the same shot in bright sunlight, like you did with the shot in the link?

This is a nice image. However, it seems as though there is a small amount of blurring. Were you using a tripod. I'm wondering if there was a bit of camera movement combined with a somewhat slow (ie. 1/30) shutter speed. Perhaps it is just the mist playing tricks on me... I can see why you took the picture, though. It is a lovely scene.

ali - thank you for your comment! I'll wait until the leaves start growing in the vineyards and everything looks greener before I make another try.

Thanks Maya!

timmybomb - no, I didn't have a tripod with me when I took this photo. I was just driving by, stopped and took this photo. Thanks for your comment!

I like the photo the way it is. What are these huts for? Do people live in them

adam - welcome back! Although I sound like an ad from the tourist office here - the Rheingau is a very nice place to visit! :)

ggraph - the huts were used to keep the tools from the vintners in there. Nowadays they don't really need them anymore but they're still around either open for hikers to take a rest or in summer some of the huts even offer some refreshments (but you need to know which ones since not all of them are doing that).

luminlight, lore - thank you for your comments!
