Parking

Today's theme of the City Daily Photo Bloggers is "Parking" - please stop by at the other CDP blogs to see what they posted for this theme.

I know this looks very complicated but all these signs are saying that during the mentioned hours (on the middle sign) you're supposed to park only for 1 hour. To check how long you've parked, they ask you to use a "parking disk" that looks like the blue one on the second last sign. I assume that the sign all the way on the bottom was put there by the house owners - they ask you not to park backwards so that their facade stays clean...

Very interesting.
Where do you get the disks from?

I remember several years ago in a lot of UK towns you used to have to get a parking wheel from a local shop and display your arrival time. Then if you stayed too long you got a ticket/fine. Don't know if that system still operates anywhere.

Don't use car but only bicycle and there's no problem to park.

Have a good evening Nicola

I enjoy your last quizs. It's a good idea.

You do that to confuse visitors, with my high level of german i would tought the last sign was something like "and welcome dear visitor", the other with the little blue box was saying that you offer 1 cookie if i park there.
