Eichberg
At least I've got one photo with Fall colors for you: this is the area between Kiedrich and Kloster Eberbach called Eichberg. It hosts a Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapie in a wonderful setting with a great view.
In 1952 I fell in love with a beautiful young woman that lived in Eichberg. Her name is Irmgard Ernst. I don't know if her family lives there or in Eltville but I have loved this woman all of my life; and I can't find her. Alfred Wiswell Beverly, Massachusetts, USA
Nicola, I believe I recognize the house in the left of your Eichberg photo. In the early 1950s I spent a few Christmas Eves here. It was the home of Herr und Frau Ernst. I was engaged to their daughter, Irmgard. I had to return to the States when my father died and I have been searching for Irmgard since my Mother died in 1957.
