Sign of a "Gutsschänke"

As I told you before, a lot of wineries in the Rheingau have "Gutsschänken" - like taverns - where you can sit in a nice atmosphere with a glass of wine and some simple but good food (like bread and cheese for example) and have a great time.

There several places along the Rhine river where you can stop to have a picnic. Since it's getting cooler now they are not really used frequently at the moment :).
